Isaiah 57:15-16
(NIV) For this is what the high and lofty One says he who lives forever,
whose name
is holy:
"I live in ahigh and holy place, but also with him who is contrite
and lowly in spirit, to revive the
spirit of the
lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.
I. LIFE IN THE LAST DAYS WILL BE LIKE:
A. LONG EMOTIONAL, POWERFUL CHURCH SERVICESII. REVIVAL HAS AT LEAST TWO CLASSES OF PEOPLE1. PEOPLE WORSHIP WITH ENTHUSIASM
2. PRAY WITH PASSION AND REACH OUT IN FAITH
3. POWER DEMONSTRATED IN NEW AND UNIQUE WAYS.B. A. DEAD OR LOST THAT ARE DAMNED TO HELL1. DEAD IS A METAPHOR THAT REFERS TO THE FACT THAT THE LOST ARE SEPERATED FROM GOD (Ephesians 2:1-3)B. THEY NEED TO BE REVIVEDa. DEAD IN SIN, WITHOUT HOPE2. THEY NEED TO BE REVIVED

b. ALIVE BUT PASSION IS GONE, GODLINESS IS DEAD
c. ALIVE BUT BEARING NO FRUITS1. AWAKENED, FRUITFUL
A. PRAYER NOT TO BRING BUT THE BEGINNING OF REVIVALIV. DO YOU HAVE A HUNGER FOR GOD TODAY?1. SLEEPING SAINTSa. SELDOM PRAY2. THEY BECOME VERY RELIGIOUS SAINTS
b. THEY ARE IN BONDAGE
c. THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUEa. THE HARDEST TO REVIVE
b. BECOMES AN ANESTHETIC
c. FIGHT TO MAINTAIN STATUS QUO (John 11:44-48)i. THEY WOULD NOT GIVE UP POWER
