The City of Mason is located in Warren County,
22 miles north of Cincinnati, Ohio and
30 miles south of Dayton. It is situated
between I-75 on the west and I-71 on the East,
on US Rt 42. It was founded
in 1815 as the Village of Palmyra by Major William Mason,
twenty years later its name was
changed to Mason in his honor.
The city has a population of
approximately 22,000 and covers 17+ square miles.
Mason is 35 minutes from downtown
Cincinnati and 55 minutes from the
Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International
Airport
Shopping is available in downtown
Mason and it is 20 minutes from four
shopping malls. It is
one of the fastest growing areas in Southwest Ohio.
The Mason Municipal Building is located at 6000 Mason
Montgomery Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040.
The Offices are open Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
City Council meetings are held
at the Municipal Building on the 2nd and 4th Mondays
of each Month, at 7:00 pm
