These songs were written and performed in 1985 by Michael Charles (Emma's Web Master) and Harry Harvey as a collection of snipped audio tape reassembled into giant loops. The loops were then rerecorded then songs were constructed around the loops. This was all done before samplers were available.
The music is erie, strange and comical. Cross Talk is a parody of the noisy public radio stations and The Cadillac on a Cross logo the band uses.
Rappin Byron is a parody of early Rap with the focus on rapping the literary masters Byron, Shelly.
