Fetish & Rock Unfolds!

Fetish and Rock Unfolds!
Interview with Emma
by Thomas Avery McNeill

CM: How is the scene there?
Emma: Cincinnati is unfortunately a repressed town. I rarely go out here. The things I prefer to wear out are not understood in Cincy so I go out in other towns like London, Toronto, Atlanta, etc.

CM: In your area are there many gothic Tgirls or Tgirls in general?
Emma: T- girls are everywhere sweetie. Some dress up like grannies, some dress Goth and everything in between

CM: How far are you in your transition? Are you full time, post op, pre-op, hormones?
Emma: Because I am in Cincy, Emma is just part time. I am just good at switching. ; )

CM: Do you fine the alternative scene to be accepting to tgirls and t-bois?
Emma: I think there are more educated people in alt scenes. Education is key to acceptance.

CM: Describe to us your typical out on the town night?
Emma: A night out could be having a glass of wine with friends or going to an Alt Club dressed to kill. Sometimes I go to BDSM clubs and some evenings out turn into orgies in fetish wear.

CM: How do you feel about Covet? Do you approve of what we do and if so are you a fan?
Emma: I was glad I stumbled onto Covet. I love the layout and look. Covet has wonderful current topics and a wide interesting eclectic mix. Hell yes I am a fan!

CM: Being that you are a fetish model, it is only fair to ask if you have an fetishes of your own?
Emma: I could write a book on my fetish interests. It all stems from sensuality. How the five senses pick up information and translate it into pleasure. For instance; all five senses were at overload when I took this
photo yesterday. The look of this rubber garment I made, when I wear it is just about orgasmic for me. The smooth glossy shine reflects light and shadow like a mirror. The aroma is of white chocolate and vanilla. The feel inside and out is that smooth silky wet feeling of having sex. It is like wearing an orgasm. Tight fits are just one of my fetish interests. The sounds of rubber snapping against my skin and other rubber garments is sweet snapping percussion. Use your own imagination to ponder what my outfit tastes like... ; ) Shoes, hosiery, vintage foundations, rubber and other sensually textured fabrics are a few of the fetish interests I have.

CM: Why did you create your e-group?
Emma: Its a place to hang my photos for public viewing. Its also a place for others with similar interests to do the same. CM: When did you create e-group?
Emma: When I was with MSN (as an internet provider) I started a group there, somewhere around January 2000. It had a couple thousand members. Then in July 2001 I started my first Yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/emmamsfetishtgirls/. Its got around 5300 members. When that group ran out of space in Oct 2001, I created the second Yahoo group. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/emmamsfetishtgirls2/ Its got around 2200 members.

I am in the process of building my own site at the moment. It will have a public section containing photos, artwork, music and other things I make. It will probably also have a pay or members section.

CM: What would you say your model style is more geared towards?
Emma: Modeling is a word that explains the activity of wearing the garments I design and produce while hamming around in front of a camera. The goal is to document the design and hopefully create an interesting image in the process.

CM: Do you have a "no nudity" policy?
Emma: Heck no... Most of the shoots I do end up with garments coming off and usually end rather pleasantly.

CM: Are there any photo shoots that stand out as your favorite?
Emma: The day I wore the outfit above and rode around town on my motorcycle doing photo scenes around town is fairly memorable. I don't think anyone in Cincinnati has ever seen a rubber girl riding around on a motorcycle. It looked a bit 'Matrix' like. Turned a few heads and heard lots of "OH my!".

CM: What is a day in the life of the Emma like?
Emma: Very sensual but not hugely exciting to watch. I don't know too many folks that would get wild over me doing web design in a rubber cat suit.

CM: Any requirements to become a member your e-group(s)?
Emma: No requirements other than interest in the images I and other members display. It really sucks not having DSL. So because of slow uploads I have not updated my imagery on the sites for a couple years. I hope to get DSL soon for the new site.

CM: How many members you would say you have?
Emma: Somewhere around 8000 members total. They come and go.

CM: What would be the overall tone of your e-group(s)?
Emma: Good question. The yahoo groups don't really have a tone. They are more just places for people with common interests to visit and post. The new site I am developing will be edgy, crisp and hopefully visually stimulating.

CM: What type of moderator would you consider yourself?
Emma: An absentee moderator. ..

CM: Do other models frequent your e-group(s)?
Emma: All kinds of folks visit the groups. Rather surprising how many and how diverse the members are. I have male, female and all sorts of transgendered members. They seem to enjoy the forum.

CM: Do other Tgirls visit your group(s)? Are any other Tgirls featured in your group(s)?
Emma: I have a section in the groups for guests. Ya dont have to be a Tgirl to post

photos at my group. But that is where they feature themselves, however they want to be featured. Most have their own sites as well.

CM: Are you friends with any of them?
Emma: Yes, I am friends with lots of the members from all over the world. Its a great way to meet and get to know people. I got to visit a bunch of the members in the UK in October. We also had a big party at the end of January where folks came in from the UK, Canada and all over the States to visit.

CM: Are there any tools like chat rooms, files, and such being used?
Emma: The people in my Yahoo groups seem to be more visual. There has never been lots of messaging or chatting. I frequent other chat rooms though.

CM: Does your group ever get out of hand?
Emma: Spam got out of hand for a while.
No not really. I don’t promote nudity because I don’t want Yahoo to shut the groups down.

CM: When can a member go too far in your e-group? What will you do then?
Emma: Some members have posted non tasteful photos. Those get deleted. A few members have tried to sell product via the groups. The rule on that is pay to play or get banned.

CM: Is there a ban policy? Any rules?
Emma: No Spam or get banned.

CM: What would you say to newbies to the scene looking for a e-group to join?
Emma: Discover something interesting and seek it out. Start by reading Covet.

CM: How long do you plan to maintain the your e-group?
Emma: The nice thing about the Yahoo groups is that they have their own momentum now. They are pretty self sufficient and evolve via the members. I just visit occasionally to tidy up.

CM: Any other plans for Emma in the future, regarding the modeling and/or gothic community?
Emma: I would like to do some art shows. These shows would consist of video, life sized photo prints, garment display and performance art. I would like to get some more of the imagery published in magazines, E -Zines and books, then perhaps produce a book of my fetish photography.

CM: Are all your photo shoots solo?
Emma: Most are solo. I enjoy shooting with others. There just aren't many people that I know in Cincy that are into this.

CM: Are there anything that you do offline in the modeling field?
Emma: Yes, lots. I go to fetish and Transgender parties / conventions around the world. The next one is Fetishcon in Florida. They asked me to come down as a model. Should be a fun event.

What I do however, is more about the artistic process than just modeling. The process is multifaceted. It involves garment concept, design and construction. A complete resculpt of my face and body to transform it into a sensual female figure is also part of the art process for me. Wearing and 'modeling' the garments to capture a sensual persona and intriguing image on camera is also very important. Finally taking, selecting and processing the photos is the key to the entire process. CM: Do you ever step behind the camera?
Emma: I do all my own photography. Its part of what I love doing. My camera has a view screen that flips around so I can see how I am composing each shot. I am holding a remote in all the photos to take the shots.

CM: Anything going on in your personal life outside of modeling you would like to add?
Emma: Loads! I am working on an entire new line of Latex garments. Should be fun putting that together. A punk -- power pop EP that my band put out a few years ago is selling like wildfire on ebay. And I hope to have my site up and running soon.

CM: Are there any other e-group(s) or websites you would like to plug?
Emma: READ COVET!

CM: Boy the love in here is potent…
