UPCOMING EVENTS
2006-2007 CALENDAR COMING
SOON…
ABOUT OUR
PROGRAM
As
of the 2006-2007 school year, there are 7 choral ensembles on campus. Middle school ensembles include the 7th/8th
Grade Boys Chorus, the 7th/8th Grade Girls Chorus, and
the X-Period Chorus, a mixed chorus that meets two days a week before you for
students involved in band or orchestra who cannot take choir during the
regular school day. X-Period
chorus is also open to daytime chorus members who accept the responsibility
of being a part of a second ensemble.
The
high school choruses this year feature the Freshman Chorus, a non-auditioned
mixed chorus; the Concert Choir, a non-auditioned mixed chorus for
upper-classmen; Select Women’s Chorus, an auditioned ensemble for sophomore,
junior, and senior women; and Chorale, an auditioned mixed chorus that
performs advanced choral literature of various styles.
Students
in the choral program comprise approximately 30% of the secondary campus
student body.
