This is a sequence of pictures taken during the total lunar eclipse on February 20, 2008 from my driveway in Loveland, OH. Since it was about 15 degrees Fahrenheit, I took these the quick way.

All pictures are handheld, afocal with a Nikon 6 megapixel digital camera through a Meade 20mm Super Wide Angle eyepiece and an 80mm William Optics ED fluorite refractor on an altazimuth mount.

All images are shown in natural color.
