NWA 2932
This is a nice slice specimen showing the internal structure of metal mixed with silicates. It is unusual for its large metal nuggets.
Class:  Mesosiderite
Found:  Morocco in 2005

Vaca Muerte
This meteorite was huge - nearly 4 metric tons were discovered. This sample is heavily weathered from lying on the surface of the driest spot on Earth - the Atacama desert in Chile.

I have two interesting samples from this meteorite. It is pretty easy to imagine them sitting in the high, dry desert.

Class:  A-1 Mesosiderite
Found:  Atacama Chile in 1861

Stony Irons are the mantles of asteroids. They are formed between the surface crust and molten core.
Mesosiderites come from the mantle of an asteroid, but have fragments of the crust embedded in them.  This indicates that they are the result of a massive collision that drove crust into mantle.
