The flexible terrain system consists of felt strips with finishes that simulate a dirt or asphalt road, or water, or other natural features. These strips will lay flush to whatever surface they are laid over, including contours as sharp as 70°. They will not adopt a washboard or other deeply grooved contour. Store components flat. It is not recommended that they be folded 180° as they may develop a permanent crease and the surfacing may be damaged. The roads, rivers, ponds, etc., can be modified simply by cutting them with a pair of common scissors. Where piece is designed for a specific figure size it will be labeled 6mm, 15mm or 25mm. 6mm pieces are suitable for micro-armor as well. A dimension in inches describes the length or height of the component.

BRIDGES    The 2" bridges are built such that they will allow the 2" road sections listed above to be laid across them in an uninterrupted manner. The 2" roads are built for 15mm and smaller. The 3½" road is made for 25mm use. In order to put together a complete bridge you will need two approaches (BG-1/6) and a bridge section. Two bridge sections can be linked to form a longer bridge by using a central pier (BG-2/7). The bridge sections come assembled and painted. The trestles are handmade of wood.
