She is an Assistant Professor in the Biology Department of Queens University in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

Lynn S. SEALS DeJaco (daughter of Roland H. SEALS and Tweedie TIMMS) was born on 24 Apr 1960 in Laurinburg, North Carolina. In 1978, she graduated from Jordan High School in Durham, North Carolina. In 1982 she received a degree in Business Administration (B.S.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
