Della Marie (Del) DEJACO Cassini173 was born on August 13, 1909 in Cynthiana, Harrison
County, Kentucky. In 1927, she graduated from St. Stephen High School
in Newport, Kentucky. In 1931, she graduated from the Nursing Program
at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She lived in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio at 3372 Hanna Avenue between
1941 and 2002. She died on May 23, 2003 in Oak Park, Cook County,
Illinois. From her obituary: Della Marie (nee DeJaco) Cassini,
beloved wife of the late Ray J. Cassini. Loving mother of Carol Cassini of Oak
Park, IL, De Anne Barnhorn (Barry), and Virginia Witt (Woody) of Fairfax, VA.
Grandmother of Michael and Katie Witt, Sheree Barnhorn Gravely, J. Bradley Barnhorn,
and Leslie Barnhorn McAllister, great grandmother of Jordan, Trevor, and Mitchell
Gravely and Nathan McAllister. Della Marie died on April 23, 2003 at age 93
at home in Oak Park. Mass of Christian Burial in Cincinnati on Saturday, May
24, 10AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she was a parishioner for over 60
years. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery. Della Marie (Del) DEJACO Cassini
and Raymond James CASSINI were married on February 15, 1936 in Newport, Kentucky
at St. Stephen Catholic Church.
Raymond James
CASSINI (son of Remigio (Ray) CASSINI and Virginia RAMAZOTTI) was born on
February 28, 1906 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. In 1924,
he graduated from Hughes High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended
Ohio State University.
He died in 1978 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.
He is a manager of the family business, Cassini Mosaic & Tile Company, until
retirement.

Carol Lynne
CASSINI was born on March 11, 1938. In 1956, she graduated from
Mother of Mercy High School. She received her B.S.N. from Mercy College,
Detroit, MI. in 1962; M.S. Ohio State University, 1971; Rush University, Nurse
Practitioner Program, 1998. Member of Sisters of Mercy, 1964-1980. Volunteer:
Catholic Relief Services, 1984, Lebanon and Ethopia. She held various positions
in nursing: clinical, administration, and education. She retired in 2001. Residence:
431 South Kenilworth, Oak Park, IL.
