140. Josef DEJACO¹⁶⁸ was born on 6 Jul 1904 in Campill/Longiarü in Tyrol (Crownland of Austria) at Seres.

He surprised to meet his American relatives, Ferd and Maria DeJaco, while they visited in Jul 1996. He was visited by his second cousin Alice DeJaco-Neltner and her husband Leroy Neltner in Jul 2001 in Campill/Longiarü, Tyrol (Crownland of Austria).

He celebrated his 100th year of life on 4 Jul 2004. More DeJaco family members from America visited Südtirol to mark that occasion. After High Mass at St. Luzia church in Campill, a large Dejaco family group gathered at a reception and luncheon to celebrate the event. Josef was awarded a Kentucky Colonelship by his visiting Kentucky relatives, and presented with gifts of Kentucky burley tobacco and good Kentucky bourbon whisky.

Later that afternoon Josef and his sons Jakob and Hans invited their American visitors to tour the ancestral home of the Dejaco family at Seres, which was also the 1847 birthplace of Franz Dejaco who came to America in 1881. The farm has been in the Dejaco family since around 1817.

He died on 16 Feb 2006 in Campill/Longiarü, Südtirol (Italy).

Josef DEJACO and Theresia PEDEVILLA Dejaco were married on 5 Oct 1937 in Campill/Longiarü, Südtirol (Italy) at Hl. Luzia Church.
Theresia PEDEVILLA Dejaco (daughter of Franz [Jakob] PEDEVILLA and Brigide CLARA) was born on 14 Jul 1909 in Campill/Longiarü, Tyrol (Crownland of Austria). She died on 6 Feb 2003 in Campill/Longiarü, Tyrol (Crownland of Austria). Josef DEJACO and Theresia PEDEVILLA Dejaco had the following children:

201	i.	Rev. Vitus Josef DEJACO169 was born on 9 Jul 1938 in Campill/Longiarü, Südtirol (Italy). On 29 Jun 1962 he is an ordained a priest in Pursenu, Italy. Celebrated his first Mass on July 3, 1962 at St. Lucia Church in Lungiaru. He concelebrated Holy Mass with pastor Jakob Wilkeit in celebration of his father's 100th year of life on 4 Jul 2004. During his opening remarks, he welcomed his visiting American relatives to this special occasion, addressing them in English. A large gathering of Dejaco family members attended the Mass, and the luncheon reception at the nearby gasthaus in Campill which followed afterwards. He is living in Neumarkt, Italy near Bözen/Bolzano.
