233. Joan Elizabeth DEJACO Blankenship²¹⁵ was born on 20 Nov 1946 in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky at Saint Elizabeth Hospital. Joan E Dejaco - Date of Birth: 20 Nov 1946, County: Kenton, Mother's name: Virginia Traylor, Volume Number: 128, Certificate Number: 63864, Volume Year: 1946. She was baptized on 25 Nov 1946 in Alexandria, Kentucky, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church by Rev. Francis J. DeJaco. In 1964, she graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills, Kentucky. In 1968 she received a degree in Education (B.A.) from Villa Madonna College (Thomas More College) in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.

She taught in the Covington Public Schools (1968-1970) and the Campbell County, KY Public Schools (1970-1973). She was an education coordinator for non-nursing personnel, for the Franciscan Health Care System, Cincinnati, Ohio (1980-1990.) She is currently working at Northern Kentucky University in an administrative role.

Following the musical tradition of our family, Joan has been a member of various choirs throughout her life. She is a member of the Northern Kentucky Community Chorus, which has traveled throughout Europe giving performances. The Chorus toured Germany/Austria, Italy, Ireland, France and the Netherlands, giving concerts at major cathedrals/churches. She also plays the piano.

She and her husband, Bob, were members of St. Joseph Church's drama club, where Bob played his saxophone in the band and Joan was on stage singing and dancing.

Joan Elizabeth DEJACO Blankenship and Robert Allan BLANKENSHIP were married on 27 Jun 1970 in Alexandria, Kentucky, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church.

Robert Allan BLANKENSHIP (son of Goebel BLANKENSHIP and Edna Helena YOST Blankenship) was born on 8 May 1946 in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky at Booth Hospital. In 1964, he graduated from Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He was a member of Highlands High School marching and concert band. He played the bassoon and saxophone. He also plays piano.

He received a degree in Data Processing from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky.

Joan Elizabeth DEJACO Blankenship and Robert Allan BLANKENSHIP had the following children:
