She died on 4 Mar 1994. From her obituary in the Kentucky Post: MARIE A. SCHEBEN, 81, of Newport, died Monday at her home. She retired after 35 years as co-owner and operator, along with her late husband, of the Kentucky Grill. She was a former housekeeper and cook at the Saint Stephen Rectory and also was a cook for the Newport School System in the late 1970s. She was a member of the Saint Ann's Ladies Society, the Saint Stephen Church Altar Society, the Echo House and the Neighborhood Gateway Association. Her husband, Victor J. Scheben, died in 1974. Survivors include daughters, Mary Aseere of Newport and Roseann Crowe of Erlanger; sons, Victor A Scheben of Fort Mitchell; Thomas C Scheben of Villa Hills, and Donald L Scheben of Lakeside Park; sisters, Florence Birkenhauer of Alexandria and Antoinette Hayden of Morrow Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 11-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 A.M. Saturday at Saint Stephen Church, Newport, with prayers at 9:30 A.M. Saturday at the Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Saint Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Memorials are suggested in the form of spiritual bouquets.

From her obituary in the Cincinnati Enquirer: Mary Louise Scheben Aseere of Fort Thomas died Monday at the Anderson Nursing Home in Anderson Township. The retired office manager for Overhead Door Co. in Newport was 68. She was a volunteer for The Point and the Northern Kentucky Association for the Retarded. Surviving are two daughters, Vicki Gibson of Fort Thomas and Julie McKibbon of Verona; two sons, Tea Aseere of Fort Thomas and Jay Aserre of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, Roseanne Crowe of Erlanger; three brothers, Victor Scheben of Fort Mitchell, Tommy Scheben of Villa Hills, and Donny Scheben of Crestview Hills; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 A.M. and prayers 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Newport, Mass of Christian burial will be 11 A.M. Wednesday at Holy Spirit Parish Church, Newport. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Memorials: Adult Day Care, Salvation Army, 10th and Patterson Streets, Newport, KY 41071.
