Murdock (Doc) BIRKENHAUER was born on 20 Apr 1919.

He died on 22 Jul 2006. From his obituary in the Cincinnati Enquirer: ALEXANDRIA - Murdock "Doc" Birkenhauer, 87, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. He was a furniture refinisher, a World War II Army veteran and member of Campbell County V.F.W. Post 3205, Alexandria. Survivors include his wife, Florence Bankemper Birkenhauer; daughters, Emily Coots, Linda Martin, Terry Morton, Susie Clark and Annette Walz; sons, Doc Jr. and Paul Birkenhauer; sisters, Esther Scarp, Agnes Mader, Charlotte Volphenhein and Chloe Synol; 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. His son, Mark Birkenhauer, died previously. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. with Mass of Christian burial following Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Alexandria. Burial will be in St Mary Cemetery. Alexandria Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Florence BANKEMPER Birkenhauer and Murdock (Doc) BIRKENHAUER had the following children:
