HOW TO APPLY

There are 7 categorical positions available each year. Applications are accepted only through ERAS™, the Electonic Residency Application System where our name is "University Hospital/University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Program". PGY 1 applicants are only accepted through the National Residenct Matching Program (NRMP™).

The application deadline is Novermber 15, 2003.

All applications must include:

• Completed ERAS application
• Deans's Letter
• USMLE transcript
• Medical school transcript
• A personal statement
• Three letters of recommendation one of which should be from the OB/GYN department chairman or clerkship director at your graduating institution
• ECFMG certification (for International Medical Graduates)

There is no minimum USMLE score for application other than a passing score is required. USMLE Step 2 is not required for application but it is preferred to have completed Step 2 prior to January 2003.

We do not require any clinical or research experience prior to initiating training.

Applications from International Medical Graduates are accepted and given every consideration. Please be aware that the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, the employer, only supports J1 visas.
