DIDGE
My GF went to Australia and I asked for a didgeridoo, never thinking she would get me one (they are fairly expensive).

Here it is:

This is the cover of the Didge. It is made of a canvas-type material and appears to be hand dyed.

These things can be LONG. Mine is about 3 ft.
Close-up of the painting on the didge. Presumably done by a native australian.

The way a didgeridoo is made is very cool. The didge maker finds a gum tree that has been infested with termites, cuts the tree to length, and evicts the termites. The tree of course, has been eaten from the inside out, giving you a hollow tube. The real beauty is in the decoration.
