Celia Jane Scott Oxley (1781-1856)

Ceilia Scott Oxley, my Great Great Great Grandmother. She was born in Virginia in 1781, married Everritt Oxley in Kentucky in 1806 and died in Linn County Iowa in 1856. She is buried in Campbell Cemetery. Her husband Everrit died as the result of a self inflicted axe wound in 1824. She and her six sons then went to Indiana, and then to Linn County. Her husband was a son of Clare Oxley.
