Jenkin and Hester Oxley Grave
A drawing I did after I had been to Franklin County to the site of the graves of Hester Oxley and Jenkin Oxley. I will send pictures as soon as they are developed. The grave site is in an area of Franklin County VA known as Fork Mountain. It is on private property and at the time of the burials would have been well away from everything. There is no homestead but may have been a part of a large parcel of land which has now been divided. It's now all in trees and hard to tell if it was ever cleared land.
