The house built by John Scott Oxley and lived in by Robert Oxley and his son Harrison Benjamin Oxley. It is on the "Tryon Farm" near Marion Iowa. Both John Scott Oxley and Jane Halley Oxley died here. The house burned in 1954 and was replaced with a more modern one, the farm was sold out of the family in the early 1970's.
