You might recognize the deft camera work of Abraham Zapruder in this brief, yet poignant film from the the 1965 National ARIA convention meeting. This footage of the opening session was all that Abraham was allowed to film. Moments later, the meeting was stormed by jackbooted corporate robots.

If you look closely at the footage you will see a woman nodding her head vehemently in agreement with the speaker on stage, which at the time, was the ARIA Minister of Propaganda. Some analysts pose that this apparently afflicted (afflicted with what?*) nodding individual could have been signaling to another operative, giving the "all clear" for the raid on the ARIA convention; as it is widely agreed that no one agrees that strongly with the ARIA Minister of Propaganda.

Even in 1965, the large robot conglomerates were attempting to squelch alternative robot-ism.

 

You might also note that the gentleman foremost in the footage is clapping his gloves together, rather than his hands. This is the Latvian separatists signal that Jerry Garcia is in the house and has ice cream. There are few conspiracy theories related to this glove clapping.
*Afflicted. Some have suggested that the nodding woman was afflicted with Turrets Syndrome. Central to ARIA lore is the idea that Turrets played a pivotal role in developing the Manifesto of the Anti-Robot Inundation Army. In fact, the nodding woman may not be a robot sympathizer at all, but rather "Large" Marge Atwood, one of the architects of the ARIA/Data Diatribe Movement.
