Word therapy

Words are the therapy for my soul

  To work out my feelings

                           is the ultimate goal

To express my self fully and

enter deep thought

To check out which lie into I bought

In my own world left to contemplate,

Finding my inner peace as I meditate

Who am I now and who have I been

Where am I going and what will I win

Work through the pain

Till the tears rain

Pour out on paper what I can not say

Purge my emotions every day

Live in a world of my own

Where to someone else am I known

Lost in that world to feel safe and secure

Where all of my heart can be pure

Earth

Paper for miles around

All spilling to the ground

Plastic and Styrofoam do not degrade

What a mess of the planet we have made

We are the cancer of the earth

Which Mother Nature has given birth

The bruise that festered into a cyst

Many opportunities have we missed

The trash piles up everyday

With each new thing we throw away

When will we be the antiseptic

To the world’s epidemic

The antibiotic or the cure

So the planet will endure

Recover from the infection

It is for our own protection
