1.) There are several Kimbrough families in the 1860, 1870 and 1880
censuses for Adams and Liberty townships in Clinton co., OH.
2.) That Thomas Kimbrough was the father of the Charity Kimbrough who
was wife of Aaron Harvey is not yet defintively proven. However, info
in the 1850 Ohio census for Adams twp., Clinton county (states of
birth for Thomas, wife Elizabeth, age of daughter Charity, and the
fact that the enumeration for Charity Kimbrough in 1850 is the only
one in Clinton county), seems to bear this out.
3.) From info in the 1850 Adams twp., Clinton co., OH census for the
Thomas Kimbrough household, it appears that the Kimbroughs may have
lived in Pennsylvania sometime between 1833 and 1844, as Susannah and
Demetrius Kimbrough were born there. It also appears that Thomas
Kimbrough may have had another son, Jeremiah; Jeremiah & (wife?) Ester
were the household enumerated immediately before Thomas' in the 1850
Ohio census.
