1.) Little information concerning Johann Gottlieb Pelz & his wife wasfound in the parish records at Werdau. (Other than the fact thatJohann Gottlieb was listed as the father of the groom on the extractfor the marriage of Johann David Pelz to Johanne Christiane Ahnert.)
It appears that Johann Gottlieb Pelz was from, or at least lived at,Grün bei Lengefeld. Further questions about he and his family werereferred to: Pfarramt; 09514 Lengefeld, Kirchgasse 12.
2.) According to a 21 Apr 2000 e-mail I received from Gerd Chalupecky(gc@berlin.sireco.net), the following is the address for theEvangelisch-Lutherisches Pfarramt Lengenfeld: Kirchplatz 2, 08485Lengenfeld. Ph# (037606) 2617; fax# (037606) 36081. Gerd says that"the name of the priest [there] is JUBELT."
[2721] 1.) As this info was taken from the IGI, I consider it to be ofunreliable quality. However, as other info from the IGI has beencorroborated by Maria Müller's 29 Oct 2001 letter to me, I suspectthat this burial information is likely correct. It still needs to becorroborated, though.
