[736] 1.) Lydia Evans's relation to Obadiah Evans (i.e.- that she isdaughter to the latter) is assumed. See General Documentation note #1for Elias Beedle (b. 22 March 1783).
[4507] 1.) I do not yet have definitive proof that Lydia Evans marriedAbraham Cook, but I think it is very likely. My reasoning on this isthe fact that a picture of Lydia EVANS appears next to a photo ofAbram COOK in the source, "Photo album - very old BEEDLE pictures,"and, more importantly, wthat Lydia's name is written as "Lydia EvansCook" on that page. Lydia Evans appears in this photo album -- aBeedle photo album -- as she was sister of Sarah Beedle, nee Evans. Thus, Abram/Abraham Cook would be a brother in law to Sarah Beedle, nee Evans.

1.) According to a cryptic note I wrote at the top of "Source #49"
Rebecca Randolph researched the genealogy of the Dunhams. I wonder
(it is merely a guess) if perhaps the old Dunham photo album in the
possession of E. James Cochran (with the photos of what I believe were
the 3 Goodpaster siblings) might have been Rebecca's? (MERELY A
GUESS!) Rebecca Randolph Dunham would have been a 1st aunt to the
Goodpaster kids, although it must be noted that none of the kids were
ever officially adopted, and that Myrtle was the only Goodpaster kid
with any significant tie to the James F. Dunham family.
[2193]
1.) Place of birth from 1880 Ohio census for Salem twp., Warren
county.
2.) According to info in the 1880 Ohio census, Rebecca Randolph was
born circa 1842. Her headstone at the Lebanon Cemetery gives a YOB of
1840. I accept the year given by the headstone, as that information
was likely given by her family, and therefore would likely be more
accurate; this also agrees with information on her death certificate,
which is located at the Lebanon, OH, Health Department.
[4332]
1.) The dates given for this marriage in Beers and SOURCE #37
disagree. The former states 1859 and the latter states 21 Dec 1858.
I tend to accept the latter, as it is more exact.
