[4030] 1.) This is MERELY A GUESS, based on 1783 tax records for Washingtoncounty, PA, which lists a Francis, Joseph, Daniel, and Joseph Beedle,Jr., who all must be somehow connected to each other. This is 100%speculation on my part, although not entirely without basis (I like tothink!) I am merely guessing here at fathers for Francis Beedle, inthe hopes that I can then -- after narrowing my choices and coming upwith a few plausible possibilities -- research those candidates in NewJersey, thereby possibly conclusively connecting my Beedles to theWarren county pioneer, William Beedle, and his more than severaldocumented New Jersey forebears.

[3894] 1.) According to Maria Müller's 29 Octo 2001 letter to me, thisperson is described on page 5 as "Bertha Emilie Korf ausDorf-Chemnitz." I suspect that this means that she had been aresident of Dorf-Chemnitz previous to her marriage to Franz HermannPelz, but not necessarily that she had been born there.
