[678] 1.) Minnie Zielbauer's place in the family tree is determined from
her last will & testament. In it, she makes reference to "the
children of [her] sister, BERTHA ENDE, viz: Anna Pelz, of North
Braddock, PA., Elsie Petschel, of Philadelphia, PA., Adolph Ende, of
Erie, PA., and Gertrude Smith, of Buffalo, NY."
2.) D. Jean Pelz mentions that Minnie Zielbauer had a bakery. D.
Pelz does not remember ever having met "Aunt Minnie," though.

[680] 1.) I am guessing-- and only guessing!-- that Minnie Dreyer was born
in Pomeran, as that is where her sister, Bertha (Dreyer) Ende was
born.
2.) Place of birth confirmed by Letter 11.

[684] 1.) According to Letter #11, Minnie Zielbauer was buried in the
Pittsburgh cemetery "on Forbes Street" (Letter #11; Attached Sheets,
pg. 9).

  7.  Martha PARKHILL
  8.  Elizabeth PARKHILL
  9.  William PARKHILL
  10.  Hugh PARKHILL

INDEX

[995] 1.) Ten children are listed in the last will & testament of David
Parkhill, while 11 individuals are enumerated in the 1790 Pennsylvania
census for the same household: 2 males age 16 or older (father David &
son John); 4 males under age 16 (James, David, William & Hugh, I
assume); and 5 females, including female head of household (mother
Martha; daughters Sarah, Jane, Mary, Martha & Elizabeth). Therefore,
I assume that one of the daughters, excepting Mary (who was born in
1776), was born after the 1790 census enumeration & before 9 Jan 1794,
when father David Parkhill wrote his will.

2.) In comparing info on page 361 of "History of Warren County"
(concerning date & place of birth for Mary Parkhill) and pages 159-160
of "Adams County Church Records of the 18th Century" (concerning
baptism dates for several children of David & Martha Parkhill, as well
as a date of marriage for the latter two), it appears that the
Parkhill family moved from Adams county to Fayette county sometime
between 1773 and 1776, years that daughters Jane & Mary are assumed to
have been born. (If I can obtain more DOBs for the other children,
this date-range may narrow down. Nonetheless, it appears that this
family did move from Adams county to Fayette county sometime in the
1770s.) It should be noted, however, that both these counties may
have been much larger in the late 18th century, and that such a move
may not have involved too great a distance. RESEARCH HISTORICAL COUNTY
BOUNDARIES!!

[4180] 1.) This marriage was performed by Rev. John Cuthbertson (Adams
County Church Records. . .156).
