1.) John M. Cochran was married 3 times. His first wife was ElviraBeedle. This marriage ended in divorce, as did the second (wife'sname is not known). His third wife (name not known) died of cancer.As told by D. Jean Pelz, Jan. 1997.
2.) John M. Cochran, and his sister Grace are described as thestep-children of Kizzie Jennings Cochran in the latter's obituary.
3.) From notes I took in a 3 Jan 1997 interview with D. Jean Pelz:John Morrow Cochran worked in a hardware store in Lebanon, OH, andafter he moved out West to Oregon. JM Cochran remained in the Warrencounty area for a while after he and wife Elvira were divorced in1935. D. Jean Pelz looked up her dad out in Oregon, circa 1955. Thehardware store was in Oregon, some place like Sand ______. D. JeanPelz says that JM Cochran & Wilbur Beedle were friends before JMC &Elvira Beedle married, & always liked each other, despite JM Cochran'sstrained relations between his wife & E.J. Beedle.

1.) Funeral services were held at the Killingsworth Little Chapel ofthe Chimes, Friday, December 22, 1972 at 1 p.m. Commander LeonardWefel officiated. St. John's Post #98, the American Legion.
2.) Final resting place is Willamette National Cemetery. John MorrowCochran was buried Friday, December 1972 at 2:30 p.m. NOTES 1 &2 from "MEMORIAL RECORD" for J.M. Cochran.
