1.) Volume 5 of The Compendium of American Genealogy states that
Sarah came from Maboy, Londonderry, Ireland (622). Her dates in
this volume are given as 1702-1771 (622); in volume 4 her YOD is given
as 1782 (657). Her years in "In Memoriam" and Handwritten Obituary #1
are given as 1702-1785. I will accept the latter sources, although I
don't consider these dates definitive. On the other hand, I would
tend to think that family records would be more accurate than records
given in a published book, especially as the date given in Handwritten
Obituary #1 is specific to the day. It also appears that The
Compendium... might have possibly transposed YODs for William and
Sarah Cochran.

1.) Place of birth taken from LDS film, William Cochran family group
sheet.

1.) The DOD for Sarah Cochran is taken from her Death Documentation
Source #1, instead of #2, as it is more specific. This date conflicts
with the LDS film, William Cochran family group sheet, which gives DOD
of 6 Feb. 1785.
2.) Place of death taken from LDS film, William Cochran family group
sheet.
