1.) As of 1 December 1885, Nannie A. was not married.
2.) Attached to photocopy page of obituaries and events relating to
the family of John Morrow Cochran (1808-1889) is the following
clipping:
"Miss Grace Cochran and her father motored down from Lebanon,
Tuesday, for a short visit with the latter's sister, Miss Nancy
Cochran of Mills avenue, the other sister, Miss Bess Cochran having
passed away about a fortnight ago after a short illness. The two
sisters had lived together many years as sloce companions and where
the one was, the other was, both in the home and out. The sympathy of
the entire community goes out to the one sister now alone."

D. Jean Pelz says that she remembers visiting these 2 sisters
when she was 6 or 7 years old, which would have been circa 1934. She
does not recall them ever having married.
