This web site was established to allow the exchange of information pertaining to Samick guitars produced in Korea between 1993 and 2001, with a particular emphasis on those guitars bearing the inscription "SAMICK Concept and Design by Valley Arts Custom Pro Shop" (aka Samick VACPS).The most reliable sources of information that I have yet encountered, have been the EBAY listings for VACPS basses and guitars, and the web site at the link above. The site an indexed copy of Samick's 2000 US cataloge, and represents what Samick VACPS instruments were produced at the end of the VACPS era.
Accessible here will be a brief history, a listing of models made during this era, technical information, external links, and (eventually) a forum.
Broadly speaking Samick's VACPS guitars and basses, produced between 1993 and 2001, fell into three general categories:
