Larry Nager- Cincinnati Enquirer, In reference to Scotty's Triple
Stop CD.
"In writing about music for almost 20 years, I've heard hundreds of
great musicians.
Until now, I've never applied a particular, overused word to any of
them.
But there's no getting around it this time. Scotty Anderson is
a genius...
He not only can do it all, he can do it better than just about anybody
has ever done it anywhere.
If you've never heard him, then Triple Stop is a good place to
start."
Some quotes from the album cover - Sleight of Hand
Scotty:
When I hear you play I sense that you have listened to all the great
masters and then added your own soul, feel and technique. Each time I hear
you play, I learn something. Best of luck on this, your first album.
It is great... Chet Atkins
Scotty:
I love your artistry. It reminds me of Django Reinheart, Hank Garland,
and Jimmy Bryant.
I'm looking forward to your new album. Best of luck ...

Found this one in the liner notes on the Danny Gatton CD.
Portraits.
He also wanted to work with a Guitarist from Kentucky, Scotty Anderson,
who he said, "Was unbelievably good"
Found this note about Scotty on the "www.tdpri.com" Telecaster
discussion board.
Scotty guy plays a guitar faster than you can hear one. Cleanly. Old
Tele with a mini-humbucker in the neck pos, and a weird bridge p'up with
tall polepieces. Played straight into a SF Twin, on about 3, used the neck
pu mostly, with the tone rolled back. No FX. They played a bunch of jazz
standards at about twice the expected tempo. Scotty's jazz soloing &
chord melody reminded me a LOT of Danny Gatton, without the excesses.
