• Dr. G Productions was started in 1994, by Dr. Ken Ghee, University Professor and community advocate,  in order to move beyond the University's "ivory tower" and to do outreach work locally and nationally.

• Dr. G Production's unique presentation format includes: scholarly lecture and motivational speaking combined with high energy drum poetry, dance and music "rapology" proven effective for entertaining, inspiring and educating young and old alike.

• Dr. G Productions also provides traditional professional academic workshops, program evaluation consultation and in-service teacher training (See sample topics below).

• Dr. Ghee is a professor, scholar, lecturer, drum poet, motivational speaker, award winning producer, composer, song writer, and story - teller. He was born in Harlem, New York and raised in Trenton, New Jersey.

• Dr. Ghee receive his B.A. degree in Psychology at Boston University in 1978 and his Masters Degree and Ph.D in Social Psychology at the University of Houston in 1983.

• Dr. Ghee is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati and has been teaching there since 1985. His research publications include: "Edu-Culture - developing effective methods for enhancing cultural identity and academic achievement in young African Americans."

• Dr. Ghee founded the RAAMUS Network(Responsible African-American Men United in Spirit) in 1985 to promote cultural awareness and academic achievement locally (on and off campus) and nationally.

• Dr. Ghee developed and directed the RAAMUS Academy for youth ages 9 through 14 from 1990 through 1994 and has received national recognition for his innovative edu-cultural program.


• Dr. Ghee produced and directed the two time award winning cartoon mythology entitled "TheFantastic Adventures of Amen Ra" in 1996. The Cartoon can be seen periodically on local access cable T.V. in Cincinnati Ohio (also available for purchase)

• Dr. Ghee has won numerous teaching and community service awards including the Prestigious All University George Barbour Award and the Just Community Award.
