MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

There are Seven (7) Participation Levels

Membership involves brotherhood and mentorship, cultural identity development and serious study of the RAAMUS Principles and Ideology.  Some Testing and character evaluation is required in order to move tohigher levels of membership.  Some minor costs (e.g. Level 3 annual membership dues ($25), Level 5 annual membership dues ($50) & purchase of (for Levels 2 - 5) study packets ($10) are required.  Also for members, various RAAMUS products and materials can be purchased at "members only" discount prices.

Membership is open to all African American males (ages 10 and above) who respect themselves, our people, our ancestors, our history, and who are interested in contributing to the mental, spiritual and cultural resurrection of African America.


A) NON MEMBERS

Level 1 - Associate

(Non Member) - Defined as a person (male or female) who is working in some capacity with RAAMUS to promote either the cultural ideology, product sells or development but is not interested in (or applicable for) membership. This person must have something (e.g. skills, time or monetary donation, resources) to offer the organization to be considered a RAAMUS Associate. (1st Degree)

Level 2 - Neophyte

(Potential Member) - Defined as a brother in diligent and committed study and training in the history, ideology, goals and objectives of RAAMUS with the interest of becoming a RAAMUS Disciple. A neophyte must be sponsored by a RAAMUS member of Warrior status or above.
(2nd Degree)



B) MEMBERS

Level 3 - Disciple

Defined as a neophyte who has professed a reasonably high level of commitment to the RAAMUS ideology and has demonstrated (in Tribunal*) a reasonably good understanding of RAAMUS goals, and objectives. (3rd Degree)

Level 4 - Warrior

Defined as an disciple who has demonstrated (in Tribunal) a significant history, experience, vigor, contribution & courage in promoting the ideology of RAAMUS in his daily activities and professional life. (4th Degree)

Level 5 - Ambassador

Defined as a warrior who has proven skills, qualities and/or characteristics that is selected (by Tribunal), appointed and sent by one sovereign (RAAMUS) to another (Society) as its qualified representative. (5th Degree)

Level 6 - Master

Defined as a consummate warrior who is selected and ordained by the Monarch to be qualified to teach others about RAAMUS and to contribute to personnel and policy decisions pertaining to the direction and structure of RAAMUS. (6th Degree)

Level 7 - Monarch

Defined as the master holding the headship and leadership office (i.e. President) of RAAMUS. He is responsible for the daily administration of RAAMUS and will carefully select, train and ordain the RAAMUS Masters as well as his eventual successor from amongst this select group. (7th Degree)

* "Tribunal" is the overseeing "Council of Elders" of RAAMUS (The Masters and Monarch)
