I have an original 1964 Chevelle Super Sport. The car is a California car that I bought in 1994. The SS option gives a 283ci motor with 220hp, four barrell carb., four on the floor, dual exhaust, tachometer, bucket seats, and a padded dash. Other than that, unless you know what to look for, it is hard to tell it is an SS or just a Malibu. There are only a few small SS emblems on the outside. I have put new seat foam, seat covers, door panels, arm rest, carpet, head liner and a rear deck in the car. I have also done some suspension work on the car. I replaced the springs front and rear and rebuilt the front end, bushings, ball joints, etc. I am looking for two items for the car. One is a posi traction rear end, 10 or 12 bolt. I also want to put in a good stereo that will fit where the original AM radio is so that will not have to cut the dash. I don't want to have to sell my car to be able to buy it either! If anyone can help please do.
