Neurophysiology

Dr. Ross will conduct a wide range of noninvasive electrophysiological testing using pin and cup electrodes. He will fly or drive (6 hr maximum from Cincinnati) with his Nicolet Viking notebook system to your laboratory or to the laboratory of your choice. The laboratory should supply the test animals, anesthesia and temperature monitoring. Dr. Ross will supply the rest. He serves both academic and industrial clients.
Dr. Ross has experience recording these tests/waveforms:

  • Compound nerve action potential (CNAP)

  • Spinal action potential (SAP)

  • Compound motor action potential (CMAP)

  • Repetitive CMAP (for neuromuscular junction)

  • Cord dorsum potential

  • Sensory and motor nerve conduction velocity determination

  • H-reflex

  • Needle electromyography

  • Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potential (BAER)

  • Somatosensory Evoked Potential (SEP)
