The chapel of the Providence Center, formerly the convent for the teaching Sisters of the Congregation of Divine Providence, is now home for
Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration.

The large and beautiful crucifix, given by a parishioner, is sculpted in the style of the medieval Florentine
artist Cimabue and shows a Byzantine influence. The altar belonged to Bishop Robert Ackerman and stood in his Fort Thomas residence on Walker
Road. Its wood inlay recalls how the risen Jesus was unrecognized until He blessed and broke bread (Luke 24:28-32). Central to all, of course,
is Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We kneel before our Savior, Who waits for us within a golden monstrance adorned with a blood-red
ruby. Effortlessly, angels bear Him up: "They will support you on their hands" (Psalm 91:12).

In this room, beauty and silence combine in reverence as hour after hour, week after week, hundreds of adorers come to be refreshed in the
presence of Our Lord. Considering that this parish began over 100 years ago, in the yearning of men and women to draw closer to Christ, how
fitting this is. May each of us enter His presence often and reverently, with heartfelt thanks and praise.
