Known Browser Issues

  • Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6.0 & Above
    Avant Browser 9.02.101 & Above
    MSN Explorer 7.02 & Above
    Maxthon (MyIE2) 1.1.090 & Above
    This site is optimized for use with Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6.0 web browser. You should not experience visual or performance problems when using this browser. The Avant Browser, MSN Explorer, and Maxthon also work very well.

  • Netscape Navigator 7.1 & Above
    Mozilla 1.7.3 & Above
    Mozilla Firefox 0.8 & Above
    We are happy to report that this site has been enhanced to support these browsers. You should no longer experience visual problems when using these browsers.

  • Opera 7.54 & Above
    This site has also been updated to run on the Opera browser as well, although you may still experience slight visual problems. Simply refreshing the browser window should correct these.

  • Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.1 & 5.2 for Macintosh
    Safari 1.2.3 & Above
    Mozilla Camino 0.8 & Above
    This site was recently updated to correct a few minor problems with these browsers. You should no longer experience visual or performance problems when using them to view this site.
JavaScript

For everything to display and function properly on this site, your browser must support JavaScript and have it enabled. Follow the steps below to check the settings on your browser. For browsers other than Internet Explorer and Netscape, please consult your browser's documentation or "Help" section.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer (applies to version 6.0 - may vary for other versions):
  1. Select "Tools" from the browser's menubar and click "Internet Options...".
  2. Select the "Security" tab and click the "Custom Level..." button.
  3. Scroll through the list until you find the "Scripting" section.
  4. Make sure that the following items are checked as "Enabled" on the list: "Active scripting", "Allow paste operations via script", and "Scripting of Java applets".
  5. Click "OK" on the open windows to save your settings.
  6. You must close any open browser window for these changes to take effect.
For Netscape Navigator (applies to version 7.1 & 7.2 - may vary for other versions):
  1. Select "Edit" from the browser's menubar and click "Preferences...".
  2. Under the "Category" section, double-click "Advanced" to expand that list.
  3. Click on "Scripts & Plugins". The "Scripts & Plugins" settings will display on the right side of the page.
  4. Make sure that all of the items under the "Allow scripts to:" section are checked.
  5. Click "OK" to save your settings.
  6. You must close any open browser window for these changes to take effect.
Site Updates

Information concerning the upcoming Sunday is updated on Friday. These weekly updates include the new Mass Intentions, that week's bulletin, and Sunday's readings and announcements. Schedules for Servers, Lectors, Special Ministers of Holy Communion, and Music Ministers are also updated on Friday. If you have anything that needs to be posted on the parish website, please email your request to SaintThomasChurch@fuse.net.
