Background

The EMS Bicycle Unit was formed in April 2000 to provide emergency medical care in emergencies and for community events in and around St. Clair Township where ambulance response could be difficult or delayed.  The unit will travel to events within a significant radius if there is a need.  Our teams routinely participate in events as far away as Cincinnati, Dayton and Clermont County.  There is no charge for the services of the unit, but donations are appreciated.

Event coordinators interested in having the Bicycle Unit present at their event are encouraged to contact the department for more information.
