1969 Three days of peace love and rock and roll. Ok..three days of drugs sex and roll and roll..it all comes out the same. half a million people gathered at Max's farm in New York for an outdoor music festival. And mud..lots and lots of mud which seems to bother nobody. It is a gathering, a celebration,an event which others will try to repeat later. It will be the Camelot for future generations to think about..but you can't go home again.

On a rooftop in London the Beatles sang a farewell to the world. The world would miss them although the records would keep coming, and each of them had at least a bit of a solo career. Ringo even got to play with trains later.

1977..Elvis Presley dies. How alive he had been for a few years had been debatable,but people had held out hopt.
