The Shandon Congregational Church has a long heritage extending from the time Ohio achieved statehood in 1803. Our founders, "brethren of different religious persuasions met on the broad basis of Christian love" to create the Congregational Church of the Whitewater from which we have descended; we are proud to continue in this tradition of over 200 years.
