The Flood Warning Continues For
The Great Miami River At Miamitown
* Until Late Friday Night.
* At 1 Pm The Stage Was 15.2 Feet.
* Minor Flooding Is Forecast.
* Flood Stage Is 16 Feet.
* The River Will Rise Above Flood Stage This Afternoon And Continue To
Rise To Near 23.9 Feet By Tomorrow Morning. The River Will Fall Below
Flood Stage Friday Evening.
* At Stages Near 24.0 Feet, Moderate Flooding Occurs Along The Great
Miami River South Of Miamitown...Over Southwest Miami Township.
Flooding Also Occurs Along The River From New Baltimore To Cleves.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Little Miami river at Milford
* until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 4 PM the stage was 17.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 19.7 feet by this evening. The
river will fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning.
* At stages near 20.0 feet, lowland flooding continues in portions of
Clermont and Hamilton counties...particularly in low areas of Milford
and Terrace Park. Flooding continues along portions of Round Bottom
Road in Anderson township.

* until Wednesday morning.
* At 3 PM the stage was 18.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 18.8 feet by this evening. The
river will fall below flood stage early tomorrow morning.
* At stages near 19.0 feet, flood waters begins to approach low lying
roads in Foster and South Lebanon.

the Ohio River at Cincinnati
* until late Wednesday night.
* At 7 PM the stage was 50.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 52 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 51.3 feet tomorrow morning then
begin falling.
* At stages near 52.0 feet, increasing sections of Kellogg Avenue from
east of Delta Avenue upstream to near Coney Island to near Eight Mile
Road are flooded...as well as parts of Humbert Avenue in the east end
of Cincinnati. Most of Public Landing is flooded...as well as
Riverside Park off River Road.

Wednesday morning...
The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flood Watch for portions of Indiana...northern Kentucky and
Ohio...including the following areas...in Indiana...Dearborn...
Fayette in...Franklin in...Ohio...Ripley...Switzerland...Union
in and Wayne. In northern Kentucky...Boone...Campbell...
Gallatin and Kenton. In Ohio...Brown...Butler...Clermont...
Clinton...Fairfield...Fayette OH...Greene...Hamilton...
Highland...Hocking...Montgomery...Pickaway...Pike...Preble...
Ross and Warren.
* From 11 PM EDT this evening through Wednesday morning
* a cold front will cross the Ohio Valley tonight. Abundant
moisture will be pulled into the region ahead of it with strong
southerly winds. With earlier rainfall in the Flood Watch
area...any rain from tonights storms will result in near total
runoff. Models are indicating that some storms may produce
rainfall amounts in excess of an inch in a short period of time.
* With creeks and streams running high from earlier
rains...thunderstorms this evening may produce significant
rainfall that will inundate low lying areas and spots with poor
drainage.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.

the Whitewater river at Brookville,
* until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 3 PM the stage was 12.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 20 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 14.5 feet after midnight
tonight then begin falling.
* At stages near 15.0 feet, the river overflows into some yards...as
well as campgrounds near Cedar Grove and New Trenton...with low land
flooding also occurring in West Harrison Indiana and Harrison Ohio.
