Hostage Crisis
SACRAMENTO, CA - 24 members of the People's Liberation Army took 114 people hostage at a local bandstand restaurant Monday night at 7:15 PM. Terror ruled for approximately 4 hours until the criminals turned on themselves, and the hostages fought back. One of the hostages is dead, two more wounded, but the terrorists fared far worse. Of the 24, 11 are dead, and 13 are wounded.
The PLA is a mercenary group, composed of individuals of various nationalities, in the
guise of a freedom fighters. For money rather than principle, they have been confirmed to be responsible for numerous bombings in the Middle East, Africa, and South America. They pull experienced members from all these countries, the IRA, and other organizations across the world.
Interpol confirms that $100,000 was deposited into an account belonging to the PLA on
Sunday 26th, 1997 which supports the evidence, along with the confirmed identities of several PLA members, that the PLA is indeed responsible for this incident. However, their client and the client's reason for funding the incident is, as yet, unknown. Police hope that a hidden room discovered in the basement may hold clues.
Interrogation of the terrorists have proven them to be tight-lipped. However, they did admit to never actually making any demands although they put on a show for the hostages to make it look like they might be released soon.
