The trajectory computer is a system designed to aid in the use of unguided, man-powered ballistic weaponry. By determining the distance to the target and analyzing a variety of parameters, it is possible to calculate an optimal angle and throwing power for any given weapon. of course, one implication becomes apparent by reading the last statement -- a character using a trajectory computer must have an installed cybereye rangefinder system.
The computer comes in two models. Both have the ballistic computer built in, but the more extensive model has an integral skillwire system built in (compatible with skillwire and skillwire+ systems). The advantage of the skillwire system is that it allows for trajectory information to be fed, in the form of muscle stimuli, directly to the body.
Both computers provide a bonus target modifier for when weapons are thrown, and both adjust scatter on a successful attack. A failed attack is still resolved as per the normal scatter rules. The level 2 computer also adds two attack "to-hit" dice to its attacks.
The level 2 trajectory computer is not compatible with tactical computers.
