The Amelia High School Athletic Boosters with the STANLEY ANSTAETT ENDOWMENT FUND are proud to offer annual scholarship funds to our graduating senior athletes. Twelve scholarships are available to senior student athletes who demonstrate their achievement both scholastically and athletically.
Criteria for the scholarship applicants appear in the list that follows which is current as of August 2007, Amelia High School Booster Scholarship applicants must:

·        Have attended Amelia High School for a minimum of two years,
·        Carry a current cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better,
·        Be presently a senior and have participated in athletics at Amelia High School,
·        Plan to attend a college, university, or trade school following their graduation,
·        Exhibit both school and community involvement,
·        Be a member of a family that is a Amelia High School Athletic Booster member for the majority of the current fiscal year
·        Be in good standing relative to the Baron code,
·        Complete an application packet consisting of:

o       A scholarship application form,
o       One letter of recommendation from a high school varsity coach.
o       Brief summary of your career goals, special interests or hobbies listing any honors or awards received plus any other information that the applicant believes would offer the Booster scholarship committee further insight into your life, values and aspirations. Limit your response to the space provided on application.

The Amelia Booster Club will award the scholarships based on merit. The applicant names will not be revealed to the Booster Board scholarship committee members evaluating the scholarship applications or to Board members making the final scholarship decisions.
It is anticipated the announcement for the Booster Club scholarships will be made each year during April or early May. Booster Club scholarship applications will be due by late April each year. The specific application due date will be announced each year well in advance. Applicants will return completed packets to the Main office of the high school.
Scholarship winners will be announced at the annual scholarship and Awards Night held in May each year.
