  Meade 80mm/400mm refractor, 2.5x Powermate
DMK 31 CCD camera

Prominences on the East Solar Limb

This image was made with
 a Coronado 60, BF 10 H-alpha filter
  Meade 80mm/400mm refractor, 2.5x Powermate
DMK 31 CCD camera.

Three frames were compiled and place behind a black disk in Photoshop.

Imaged with Coronado 60, BF 10 H-alpha filter
Vixen 102ED refractor at prime focus
and a DMK 31 CCD black and white camera.

This image is made by combining two frames, the solar surface
and the edge prominence frames.
Color was added in Photoshop CS3.
