Our festival committee organizes a parish festival to be held the weekend after Labor Day. The festival has been held on the same weekend every year since 1947. As mentioned in our parish history that year our grand prize was a black and white TV and a barrel of groceries. Our grand prize now is $10,000.00. What started as a one day event is now three days long, and what started out as $6,000 in profit is now as much as $80,000.00.

New for the festival for 2004 is an arcade, a pie baking contest, and an ATM machine.

Our annual festival offers parishioners an opportunity to work together on a major revenue producing project and at the same time share friendship. The festival committee is made up of volunteers that meet monthly on a year round basis.
