This is a platypus and it is my favorite animal in the whole world because it is so goofy. It's a mammal that lays rubbery eggs (like a reptile) lives in and around water, and has no nipples so it has to sweat out milk to its young. It is also one of the two poisonous mammals in the world, the males have spurs of his hind feet that are poisonous especially around mating season. to learn more about the platypus, plus where I got my pictures click here.

These are my stuffed Platypuses, the big one I accually got in Australia so it's my favorite, the samllest one I got at the Cincinnati zoo, they have another one that i want to get. The real dark one my husband got for me, and it's a puppet. If you know of anywhwere I can get Platypus stuff mail me.

I am also a member of National Anti-Vivisection Society (NAVS) it's an animal rights organization, now before you go calling me a radical please listen (ok read) what the organization stands for. This group is nothing like PETA, the NAVS only is against product testing, medical testing, and the dissection of animals in schools. Which is pretty much what I don't like. The other thing that I like about them is they don't just tell you to boycott and stuff like that, they teach you how to get laws changes by writting letters, and teach children how to go to teachers about not dissecting. If you love animals but hate radical animal orginazations you should check out NAVS.

I love the Zoo and here in Cincinnati we have one of the best even ole Jungle Jack himself thinks so and he works for the Columbus Zoo. The Cincy Zoo has all kinds of rare animals it is one of only two zoos in the world to have a White Lion. They also have White tigers and a really neat albino Alligator. This is "Jungle" Jack Hanna he is by far the coolest man on earth, I watch his show every day and so should you, I learn a lot and Jack is really funny. I also have Jack Hanna's book on buying pets, it gives all kinds of good advice, he has helped a lot with my two children Luckey and Isis.

I like watching the discovery Channel and my favorite shows are about Sharks, other fish, insects and reptiles. Hammerheads are my favorite Sharks, I learned on the Discovery Channel that if you see one in the ocean blow bubbles or make them with your scuba tank because they flee at bubbles (see what you can learn).

Dogs are kind of neat also and you can get purebread dogs cheap and save there lives if you get them through Purebread Rescue, you can get more info here.
