Welcome House has programs to provide services to homeless or those at risk of becoming homeless. Services provided include emergency assistance (food, personal, etc), emergency shelter (for women and children), case management (focused on income, housing, life skills), employment services, payee (managing budgets), and supportive transitional housing. The Brighton Center has a Family Support program which helps families who are in need of emergency assistance. The program primarily serves Campbell County, however, residents of Kenton, Boone, Grant, Pendleton, Carroll, Owen, and Gallatin Counties are also assisted. The Family Support Program offers the following types of assistance: food, clothing, rent, deposit, housing searches, tenant/landlord rights, transportation, cleaning supplies, utilities, prescriptions, household items, personal items, diapers, furniture, baby items, USDA commodities, SHARE, and referrals to other agencies.

Food Stamps

The Food Stamp Program helps people with little or no money buy enough food for healthy meals. It does this by providing people with food stamp benefits, which can be used to buy food at participating stores.  The Food Stamp Program is run by the Cabinet for Families and Children.
