Housing Assistance Available

Housing is available at no cost or at  a reduced cost to those individuals who meet certain guidelines.

There are organizations that provide emergency and temporary shelter.  You can also apply for Section 8 housing which is a program that provides housing at a reduced cost.

Welcome House has programs to provide services to homeless or those at risk of becoming homeless. Services provided include emergency assistance (food, personal, etc), emergency shelter (for women and children), case management (focused on income, housing, life skills), employment services, payee (managing budgets), and supportive transitional housing. This program is designed to help low income families find safe, decent and sanitary housing and to assist in paying their rent. There is usually a waiting list for Section 8 Housing.
