Their mission is to provide necessary medications and pharmaceutical care free of charge to those unable to pay.
Those serviced include the homeless, indigent or needy who
do not quality for or have insurance that covers medications. Each person
will be screened for eligibility by either the referring parish, social
organization, or the Pharmacy.
HealthPoint
HealthPoint offers affordable prescription drugs through a program
called MedShare. You qualify if:
You are a HealthPoint patient
You have Medicare or other insurance with no drug benefit
You have no health insurance.
Prescriptions are available at very reduced rates, as little as $5.00 for a month's supply.
